Track Bling #2

I made an adapter plate that allows 1/8" 5-bolt track chainrings to be used with the proprietary bolt pattern of the Zipp VumaChrono crankset. This may not sound terribly exciting, but it means that my bike will be the only bike in the world with a true track specific VumaChrono, and since it's such a perfect crank for track cycling - I am excited.

Dave,

I will be racing Masters national track this year and want to run a Zipp VumaChrono crank for my pursuit/kilo bike. Any chance you could help a guy out with info on how to mod a Zipp VumaChrono road crank to work on my track bike?

Thanks in advance,

James

Hey David,

I'm ready and wanting to buy the adapter from you, but I can't find ANY data ANYWHERE regarding if the Zipp VukaChrono crank is UCI compliant. I want this crank, but don't want to go buy one and your adapter if I show up to Masters Track Nationals and they tell me to change it or go home.

Let me know what you know. If you can help show me it's compliant, also let me know how to pay you and get the adapter.

Thanks in advance.
